Natalie Portman Is the New Face of Miss Dior Cherie

Natalie Portman has been wearing oodles of Dior in recent months. If that didn't clue you in to a partnership with the brand, then here's the official news: She's the new face of Miss Dior Cherie perfume. You'll see Natalie in her new role starting in March, when print ads by Tim Walker and an extra-special commercial directed by Sofia Coppola Debut.

Based on Sofia's other work for Dior, the ad will likely be charming, endearing and girly. This is Natalie's first luxury beauty endeavor and she seems excited about it, although she admits that her beauty routine is rather lax when she's not working. She says:
I’m pretty casual in my beauty routine in my real life, some might say sloppy.
With Natalie's gorgeous pixie-like features, we have no doubt this campaign will be beautiful and can't wait to see it. Congrats Natalie!

Trend Alert: Suiting Up!

Katy Perry Gets Crystallized in Swarovski For HB

Katy Perry certainly no stranger to glitter, but the limited-edition December cover of Harper’s Bazaar elevates her shine to a whole new level. Shot by celeb fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski, the close-up cover features Perry’s pout bejeweled in 150 red crystal Swarovski Elements! And while only a select group of fashion insiders and VIPs will receive a copy actually encrusted in the sparklers, you can still score insider access to the special edition by perusing the enhanced digital issue, where readers can check out exclusive interactive content for $3.99. And if you’re not up for shelling out the cash, you can still check out chic Katy Perry content like this behind-the-scenes video of her cover shoot.

Three For Leopard

It's never too early in the morning for leopard print, that is if the Kardashian sisters have anything to say about it! On Monday, the trio headed to the Today show decked out in leopard, Kourtney and Khloe even sported the same Prada pumps. Kim was the standout, of course, with an exotic clutch.

Ashley Greene to Host CW Fashion Special!

Last year, Twilight's Ashley Greene got to show off her style savvy as the fashion correspondent for the MTV VMAs, asking all the stars the truly crucial, "What are you wearing?"
Now, Greene is hosting Fashion Forward: Making It, an upcoming special on the CW. Greene will go behind the scenes with celebrity designers like Gwen Stefani and Justin Timberlake, taking an in depth look at the fashion industry. She told PeopleStyleWatch, "It was really cool to be talking about a lot of young designers and fresh faces and forces in the fashion industry that are essentially making their mark in fashion like I'm making mine."

Look of the day

With its structured tier skirt and folded neckline, the dress was modern, elegant, and refreshingly wearable. Michele allowed the frock to speak for itself, opting for natural-looking makeup, thin gold-and-diamond bangle bracelets and nude Louboutin pumps. I honestly wouldn't wear it in any other way!

Alexa Chung is Fashion's "It" Girl

We’ve been hyping Alexa Chung‘s ineffable coolness for months and now the New York Times agrees! The British model was profiled this weekend and declared fashion’s “latest ‘it’ girl.” Not only does Chung have a line of clothing at Madewell, she’s also starring in a PBS reality show “Thrift America”, which will track her mining consignment shops for undiscovered gems. The show debuts next summer. I’ve rounded up some of her signature looks.

Plastic Surgery Through Tom Ford's Eyes

Much ado has been made about Crystal Renn's recent size transformation, but Carine Roitfeld and Tom Ford team up with Renn to give her another kind of transformation in the holiday issue of Vogue Paris. Roitfeld styled and Ford captured Renn in "La panthere Ose" a woman with puffed up lips and a pulled-back face, the result of simulated plastic surgery. These are some of the first images of the issue, which was guest edited by Ford, who is featured himself in the pages wearing a feathered headdress.

Karl Lagerfeld to design a line for..

Macys! Macy's has confirmed reports that Karl Lagerfeld is designing a one-off capsule collection for the retailer, to be sold in 250 Macy's stores and online next September.

“Karl Lagerfeld a unique place in the world of fashion, an icon who is the ultimate modernist,” said Terry J. Lundgren, Macy's chairman, president and CEO. “Through the decades, his style and vision have marked the history of design. It is a tremendous honor to bring his inimitable perspective to our fashion customer.”

The designer, who recently said he was planning a "masstige" collection to be sold primarily online, is still looking into something in the lower-priced arena. That line, which is separate from the Macy's collection, is still in progress and expected to be introduced for Fall 2011.

Olivia Palermo Gets Her Own Show!

There was no way Olivia Palermo going to fade away into the background after the end of The City, she's just too stylish for that! Since the show ended, she's become the face of Mango, shot numerous fashion spreads and is now, according to Elle.com, getting her own show! The question on our mind is what direction the show is going to go in. Will she continue to pretend to work at a magazine and be the one everyone loves to hate, or will she be able to showcase her killer style and sweet personality? Whichever way it goes, we're definitely going to be tuning in.

Since Victoria's Secret $2 Million Bra Never Sells.....

Since Victoria's Secret's million dollar bra never sells, they've made a $250 consumer version this year. After last year's Victoria's Secret Show aired, it was reported that no one had ever purchased a Victoria's Secret Fantasy Bra. In fact, the company admitted that all of the past bras, the 2006 Hearts on Fire Diamond Fantasy Bra, worth $7 million, all been dismantled.

This year's upcoming show, which tapes Nov. 10 and airs Nov. 30, will feature Adriana Lima in a $2 million dollar bra (left) fashioned out of 142 carats of gems, including 60 carats of white diamonds and 82 carats of topazes and sapphires. And while no one may buy that specific bra, the brand has wisened up this year: they've made a $250 consumer version of this year's Fantasy Bra, which Candice Swanpoel wears (right) on the cover of the soon-to-be-sent-out Victoria's Secret Christmas Dreams and Fantasy catalogue. Instead of diamonds, the consumer version has crystals. After all, who would buy a $2 million bra????
